Phosphor wurde 1669 von dem Alchimisten Hennig Brand<\/p>\n

bei starkem Gl\u00fchen von eingedampftem Harn entdeckt. Das Element<\/p>\n

war jedoch vielleicht schon fr\u00fcher bekannt.<\/p>\n

Man unterscheidet drei Formen:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Vorkommen ist in der Natur in Phosphaten (Apatit, Phosphorit, Knochen, Z\u00e4hne) sowie in Lebewesen in Form von Phosphors\u00e4ureestern (z.B. Lecithin, ATP, DNA, RNA). Phosphor wird von Pflanzenwurzeln als Dihydrogenphosphat-Ion H2<\/sub>PO4 <\/sub>\u2013 aus dem Boden entnommen.<\/p>\n

Phosphor wird durch die Reduktion von Calciumphosphat hergestellt.<\/p>\n

Phosphate werden als D\u00fcngemittel verwendet. Die in den Waschmitteln enthalten Polyphosphate \u00fcberd\u00fcngen Gew\u00e4sser und f\u00fchren im Extremfall zum Kippen von Fl\u00fcssen und Seen. Daher werden sie zunehmend durch Silicate ersetzt. Phosphors\u00e4ureeester bilden die Basis vieler Biozide. Phosphor dient zur Herstellung von Phosphors\u00e4ure. Roter Phosphor ist in Z\u00fcndholzreibfl\u00e4chen enthalten.<\/p>\n
