Der Wissenschaftler machte sich daran, die Schl\u00fcsselkomponenten der wei\u00dfen Blutk\u00f6rperchen zu erforschen, die Teile unseres k\u00f6rpereigenen Immunsystems sind.<\/p>\n<p>Die Struktur des Erbguts entdeckten sp\u00e4ter Francis Crick und James Watson &nbsp;im Jahr 1953 und bekamen daf\u00fcr den Nobelpreis f\u00fcr Medizin. Allerdings benutzten die Wissenschafter Arbeiten der britischen Biochemikerin <a href=\"http:\/\/nawi.naturundbildung.at\/wp\/?page_id=4996\">Rosalind Franklin<\/a> \u00fcber R\u00f6ntgenstrukturanalysen der DNA, ohne Franklin um Erlaubnis zu fragen. Die Arbeiten von Rosalind Franklin leisteten einen wesentlichen Beitrag um die Struktur der DNA zu erkennen, dennoch ging Rosalind Franklin nicht nur bei der Nobelpreis-Verleihung leer aus, sie wurde in den Dankesreden von Watson und Crick nicht einmal erw\u00e4hnt.<\/p>\n<h5>Was ist eine DNA?<\/h5>\n<p>DNA, oder Desoxyribonukleins\u00e4ure, ist das Erbmaterial in Menschen und fast allen Organismen. Fast jede Zelle im K\u00f6rper einer Person hat die gleiche DNA. Die meiste DNA befindet sich im Zellkern.<\/p>\n<p>Die Information in der DNA wird als ein Code gespeichert, der aus vier chemischen Basen besteht: Adenin (A), Guanin (G), Cytosin (C) und Thymin (T). Die menschliche DNA besteht aus etwa 3 Milliarden Basen, und mehr als 99 Prozent dieser Basen sind bei allen Menschen gleich. Die Reihenfolge dieser Basen bestimmt die Information, die f\u00fcr den Aufbau und die Aufrechterhaltung eines Organismus verf\u00fcgbar ist, \u00e4hnlich wie die Buchstaben des Alphabets in einer bestimmten Reihenfolge erscheinen, um W\u00f6rter und S\u00e4tze zu bilden.<\/p>\n<h5>Was ist eine RNA?<\/h5>\n<p>RNA steht f\u00fcr Ribonukleins\u00e4ure. Es ist ein wichtiges Molek\u00fcl mit langen Nukleotidketten. Ein Nukleotid enth\u00e4lt eine stickstoffhaltige Base, einen Ribosezucker und ein Phosphat. Genau wie DNA ist RNA f\u00fcr Lebewesen lebenswichtig.<\/p>\n<p>Die Hauptaufgabe von RNA besteht darin, den genetischen Code, der f\u00fcr die Erzeugung von Proteinen vom Zellkern zum Ribosom ben\u00f6tigt wird, zu \u00fcbertragen. Dieser Prozess verhindert, dass die DNA den Zellkern verlassen muss. Dies sch\u00fctzt die DNA und den genetischen Code vor Sch\u00e4den. Ohne RNA k\u00f6nnten Proteine niemals hergestellt werden.<\/p>\n<h5>rRNA, mRNA, tRNA<\/h5>\n<p>RNA wird durch einen Prozess, der Transkription genannt wird, anhand der DNA gebildet. Dies verwendet Enzyme wie RNA-Polymerasen. RNA ist von zentraler Bedeutung f\u00fcr die Proteinsynthese. Zuerst tr\u00e4gt eine Art von RNA, genannt messenger-RNA, Information von der DNA zu Strukturen, die Ribosomen genannt werden. Diese Ribosomen bestehen aus Proteinen und ribosomal-RNAs. Sie alle kommen zusammen und bilden einen Komplex, der Boten-RNAs lesen und die Informationen, die sie in Proteine tragen, \u00fcbersetzen kann. Dies erfordert die Hilfe von transfer-RNA oder<\/p>\n<h5>Der Unterschied zwischen der RNA und der DNA<\/h5>\n<p>Strukturell gesehen sind DNA und RNA nahezu identisch, dennoch bestehen drei grundlegende Unterschiede, die f\u00fcr die sehr unterschiedlichen Funktionen der beiden Molek\u00fcle verantwortlich sind.<\/p>\n<p>RNA ist eine einzelstr\u00e4ngige Nukleins\u00e4ure. Au\u00dferdem besitzt die RNA einen Ribose-Zucker anstelle einer Desoxyribose-Zucker. Au\u00dferdem wird in die RNA-Nukleotide eine Uracil-Base anstelle von Thymin eingebaut.<\/p>\n<p>Abgesehen von diesen Unterschieden sind DNA und RNA sehr \u00e4hnlich. Ihre Phosphate, Zucker und Basen zeigen die gleichen Bindungsmuster, um Nukleotide zu bilden, und ihre Nukleotide binden auf die gleiche Weise an Nukleins\u00e4uren.<\/p>\n<p>Unterschiedlich ist nat\u00fcrlich noch die Funktion: In der RNA &#8222;steht&#8220; die Erbinformation wie in einem Buch.
